Research Associate / PhD Candidate (f/m/d)
Your tasks:
* Multiscale simulations of stimuli-responsive functional materials
* Investigation of structural and dynamic properties of molecular switches and machines
* Development and application of evolutionary algorithms, neural networks and machine learning for modeling, evaluation and visualization of dynamic phenomena
* Scientific collaboration and exchange with experimental groups
Your profile:
* Successfully completed undergraduate studies (M.Sc. or equivalent) in chemistry, physics or a related field
* High motivation to learn, develop and apply new theoretical methods
* Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team
* Ideally experience in working with quantum chemistry and/or molecular mechanics software packages and programming
* Good communication skills in English, both oral and written
