Your Role Development and implementation of a market access and health economic outcome research strategy Review and evaluation of medical and economic evidence using the methods of systematic literature reviews and meta-analysis Oversight and responsibility for the execution of health economic and outcome research projects (e. g. cost-of- illness or cost-effectiveness analysis, incl. concept development, data collection and analysis, pharmacoeconomic modeling) in close cooperation with external experts Selection of vendors for market access efforts – RFP review, vendor selection criteria, budget negotiations Preparation, review, and submission of health economic and outcome research publications to peer-reviewed journals in close cooperation with key opinion leaders in the field Development of value proposition and value messages for existing and new products in cooperation with the marketing, medical and regulatory affairs teams Generation of global value dossiers and value communication tools for existing and new products Support and steer local market access activities, e.g. HTA creation (incl. adaptation of global health economic models, global value dossier and value communication tools according to local guidelines / conditions) and communication with local payers, authorities or societies in close cooperation with the local organizations Support or coordinate business development projects in interdisciplinary / international teams Your Profile Successfully completed university degree in health economics, public health / epidemiology, pharmacy, medicine, biology or related subjects of study At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industries in management of market access and / or health economics projects; experience with market access projects in regional markets and negotiation with payors Good skills in project management, communication, and presentation of scientific topics to non-scientists Solid experience in medical writing Experience in health economic modeling Sound understanding of medical-scientific topics Insights in business development and strategic planning processes Ability to work in a complex, international environment Fluent English language skills in speaking and writing required Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Celine Karbach
