Responsibilities:
* Support Sugarbeet Business Ventures in providing service to customers within the scope of different NIRS applications (e.g. BEETROMETER).
* Contribute to the development, validation, and implementation of NIRS applications and PAT strategies to monitor critical quality attributes (CQAs) and critical process parameters (CPPs).
* Plan, conduct, analyze, and present results of trials for customer-specific Beetrometer® applications.
* Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
* Analyze data from PAT tools to identify trends, optimize processes, and troubleshoot issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PAT tools into existing processes and define process KPIs and success metrics.
* Provide training and support to staff and customers.
* Travel globally up to 35% of working time.
Requirements:
* Master’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience in process analytical technology or related area.
* Strong knowledge of optical measurement systems, particularly near infrared spectroscopy.
* Experience in chemometrics and multivariate calibration or machine learning (Matlab), experience in handling scrips in Python or C++ will be a plus.
* Passion for the job and with this commitment and flexibility.
* Hands-on character, able to work in office and production environments.
* Intercultural skills, problem-solving attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, customer orientation, and open mind.
* Effective communication in English is mandatory, German and/or French language is a plus.
* Valid EU Driving License B will be a plus as well, as this would make travelling to the locations much easier.
