As Account Manager:in - Mercedes, your focus will be on business development with the second highest-selling customer on the global market - Mercedes. Your main task is to strategically position IAV's service portfolio and to acquire topics outside the powertrain. You will also contribute to the implementation of our customer strategy and define sales targets based on customer needs and sales opportunities.
Your Tasks:
1. You negotiate our offers with the customer and support the bid team in the preparation of offers.
2. You promote IAV's competitiveness with the customer.
3. You support improvements in IAV's positioning with the customer.
4. You work on the development of the account strategy.
5. You will process acquisitions for the Key Account Manager in close coordination with the specialist sales team.
6. You are the contact person for the customer's purchasing department and conduct negotiations on behalf of the Key Account Manager.
Necessary Skills:
7. Successfully completed studies in engineering, business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
8. Proven sales experience, strong organizational skills, good business knowledge and experience in service sales, acquisition or project business
9. Experience in dealing with customers at various levels
10. Willingness to assume sales responsibility for the assigned customer Mercedes
11. Persuasive and assertive personality, ability to work in a team and willingness to cooperate
12. Very good written and spoken German and English (at least C1 level)
Desired Skills:
13. Know-how in drafting contracts for service offers and preparing complex offers as well as in negotiations on services and major projects in the automotive and supplier industry
14. Strategic thinking, coupled with a strong willingness to implement
