Read on Reporting to the Head of DACH Region, the Sales/ Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and closing new sales opportunities for Altus Group’s products and services by generating leads, managing client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives within the DACH region. This role involves prospecting, qualifying business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and providing tailored solutions to drive revenue growth. If you have experience in Real Estate, a proven track record in SaaS or cloud technology sales, fluency in German and English, and a drive for achieving results, this is an excellent opportunity to leverage your skills and make a meaningful impact in expanding Altus Group’s presence in the DACH region. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new leads within the DACH and CEE region, driving activity in the assigned territory. Call prospects, build targeted lead lists, and manage sales efforts in the CRM (using LinkedIn, Preqin, etc.). Qualify business opportunities by understanding customer needs and building strong relationships Deliver tailored product presentations to all management levels Lead negotiations, handle objections, and close deals. Create, negotiate, and finalise commercial agreements. Develop and document close plans and sales strategies for internal and external alignment. Become a subject matter expert in Altus Group’s commercial real estate solutions. Track and report key performance metrics, including sales pipeline, revenue, and customer satisfaction. Provide accurate sales forecasts to ensure alignment with company and territory objectives. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2 years of sales experience, preferably in Real Estate, cloud or SaaS technology, with a proven track record of exceeding targets. Fluent in German and English (written & spoken). Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills. Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset. Confident presenter, able to perform under pressure. Collaborative team player who shares knowledge and supports success. Consultative approach fostering trust, credibility, and transparency. Proactive, with willingness to travel.
