Then you could be just the kind of person we’re looking for About the role Preparation of standalone financial statements and relevant disclosures in accordance with HGB and IFRS. Coordinating reporting and accounting related matters for companies which are part of Supply & Trading GmbH (RWEST) segment. Quality assurance and supporting on clarification of accounting issues in accordance with HGB and IFRS; preparation of comments for the managed companies and preparation of analyses and evaluations for management. Supporting consolidation process of RWEST segment. Providing support on external audit. Collaborating on projects focused on continuous improvement, and automation initiatives. Engaging with various functions within the RWE group, including Controlling, Asset Accounting, and Tax departments to ensure cohesive operations. Job requirements and experience Relevant accounting / business administration qualification. Good knowledge of national and international accounting standards (HGB, IFRS). 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting, finance or controlling. Fluent in German and good command of English. Strong communication skills to collaborate with all kind of stakeholders. High level of commitment, initiative and ability to work in a team. Advantageous, but not essential Good knowledge of SAP FI / CO/ S4 Hana. Affinity for data analysis and process optimisation.
