Chora is looking for a creative and brand-focused Global Marketing Manager who excels at building trustworthy and powerful marketing collaterals focused on the defence and security sector. You will manage a team of two colleagues with whom you will execute our brand strategy.
Our Global Marketing Manager will play a central role in driving international marketing of our systems and products to governments, OEM- and strategic partners. The position requires experience and a wide array of skills and competences from insightful people management, over long-term relationship building, to participation in sales of defence and security products and services to government end-users, primarily within the electronic warfare sector - to make the world a much safer place.
As Global Marketing Manager, you will become an important part of our international Sales and Marketing organisation. Your role will be a key position working closely with several other functions such as Product Management, Sales, Technical Support, Bid Management, and our R&D organisation.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Global Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that our marketing and brand strategy is executed to meet or exceed present and future sales budgets. Further:
1. In your career, you have already demonstrated excellent marketing skills, and you are prepared to be active in operational marketing efforts such as participating in international exhibitions and in customer meetings abroad.
2. You believe in yourself as a people manager – you appreciate, and you expect, team spirit.
3. You have a high degree of understanding of the defence and security sector.
4. You have great skills in terms of co-operating with other internal departments.
5. You understand technical writing, event management, graphics and development of marketing collateral in terms of text material and multi-media.
6. You are able to network in different environments such as conferences and exhibitions.
7. You are focused on being a success, you are result-oriented, and you are prepared to invest the necessary efforts.
8. You can demonstrate an existing network in our industry.
9. You are able to ensure high-quality marketing collateral throughout the marketing funnel from creating awareness to sales and service.
YOUR PROFILE
You come from a position as marketing Director or similar, and you have minimum 5 years of experience in managing a marketing team in a similar business sector. You might have a technical degree and quite long experience with complex customer projects. You are energetic and enthusiastic, and you like to have fun in your work. Further:
1. You have minimum 5-10 years of experience in managing a marketing team.
2. You have minimum 5 years of experience working with government customers.
3. You understand the process of developing marketing collateral.
4. You understand the process of engaging with suppliers and outsourcing marketing work.
You live within commuting distance of Chora (i.e., in, or within commuting distance of, Aarhus, Denmark, or in, or within commuting distance of, Munich, Germany). You are a German citizen or you have lived at least the last 5-10 years in Germany. Alternatively, you are a Danish citizen or you have lived at least the last 7 years in Denmark. You speak and write English at a professional level and preferably Danish or German at a fluent level.
