About the Role This role is responsible for leading the execution of our Sustainability strategy in alignment with BU Marketing strategy and regional priorities. The objective is to build brand equity for Tork and establish Essity’s Professional Hygiene as an expert thought leader and performer in Sustainability. You will work in close alignment and partnership with the Regional S&M organization and BU Sustainability experts. You are the strategic voice in the region to align sustainability initiatives and you are also an advocate and subject matter expert relative to sustainability. Accountable for Sustainability Brand content activation and integrity, Sustainability Brand Awareness. Responsible for region Central (BeNeLux, Central Eastern Europe, DACH) the International Key Accounts operating globally (mainly Europe). Working both regionally and with the BU marketing matrix in PH. What You Will Do Sustainability expertise: Attend sustainability network groups and build expertise on Tork 4 focus areas. Participate in the BU Sustainability Hub team, providing feedback on regional sustainability needs. Data & Regulation expertise: Act as a Subject-Matter-Expert (SME). Can speak on regulations like EU green deal and CSRD. Know how to discuss LCA and carbon footprint results and implications with customers. Structure and drive growth: Develop and work with sales on the execution of concrete sustainability initiatives as part of our joint business plans for selected strategic distributors and end-customers across a range of industry segments, in alignment with BU strategy and regional commercial plans. End Customer Meetings: Develop relationships with key stakeholders at our strategic customers to build credibility and share of mind with a focus on sustainability. Cascade BU sales assets: Be an advocator of our sustainability strategy to marketing & sales; answer FAQs, make content, best practices and learnings widely available across the region. Training: Responsible for coordinating sustainability focus on product, segment, brand and services training for internal colleagues and distributor sales teams. Who You Are University degree in Sustainability/Business administration/Marketing or similar. 3rd party accreditations/ certifications in Sustainability are highly recommended. >5 years of B2B and/or B2C Marketing Background in Sustainability with track record of successful market execution and impact. A passion for sustainability and desire to stay updated on latest trends and network internally and externally with sustainability experts. Experience in working in a matrix set up highly desired. Customer-focused; Experience executing brand marketing plans with customers. Ability to work in a structured and organized way with both systems and people in order to effectively drive change and track results. Strong bias for action and able to prioritize effectively in times of ambiguity. Strong digital literacy including networking on social media eg Linked In. Good written and oral communication skills and so able to deliver effective training and sales assets to colleagues, customers and as a spokesperson. Fluent in both English and German.
