Responsibilities related to the position: Actively participate in the monthly S&OP process, considering the analysis of sales forecast, demonstrated capacity, inventory levels, as well as production strategies to ensure issues/potential risks are addressed properly and timely, aligning demand with capacity and materials availability. Create the production plan for the planning horizon while keeping in line capacity agreements with the Plant. In collaboration with the Plant, review the execution of the production plans to ensure realistic and executable production programs. In communication with customer service, check the planning priorities against the available resources (Capacity Planner), maintain and adapt the schedule to the changes produced, informing the areas involved, the status and deadlines. Carry out MRP (Material Requirement Planning) programs and perform material purchase requisitions and intercompany requirements plans. Establish and track procurement programs, ensuring the supply of all necessary materials through the purchasing function. In collaboration with the rest of the departments, prevention of obsoletes by managing slow moving. Verify and propose updates of the master data in SAP related to the planning process, to ensure that the system and process are up-to-date and operate according to established guidelines. (delivery times, lot size, production times, production strategies; MTA, MTS, MTO). Participate in the meetings scheduled for the control (stability) and management (improvement) of the processes’ KPIs. Analyze the root cause of incidents and propose improvement actions for their prevention.
