Head of Revenue & Growth Planning
Duration: 6 months from September 2024 until February 2025

Role Dimensions
The Revenue & Growth Planning team is accountable for all RGM and GM levers across pack, channel, price, promotion, and Trade Investment, and will use this to orchestrate the business approval of the one commercial plan that drives what we sell and implement. The team works closely with the marketing, commercial and finance directors to ensure plans are constantly optimised delivering the needs of consumers, customers and Diageo.
This position leads a team of 7 RGM specialists, in addition to a dotted reporting line to 3 RGM Analysts. The role takes care for all RGM levers, developing the Northern Europe strategy in a complex environment of local competition, international price defensibility and global brand strategies.
It is a pivotal role aligning in- and above market senior partners to one coherent strategy that drives predicable revenue growth and sustainable long term market share. This role reports to Strategy & Transformation Director for NE.
Top Functional Accountabilities
1. Lead the development of the integrated commercial plan for Diageo NE that combines the needs of brands, channels, customer and Diageo’s short- and long-term market share and financial goals. Work in collaboratively with Category Strategy, Shopper Marketing, Innovation and Customer Marketing teams to do so.
2. Develop and deploy the business pricing and promotion strategy, building competitive, share winning and revenue growing pricing and promotional strategy and plans that fulfil shopper critical metrics.
3. Own the RGM M&E framework, creating a deep understanding of the end-to-end value of customer investment and building benchmarks for ongoing optimisation. Ensure that there is a plan to improve return on investment of total customer spend every year.
4. Cooperate with commercial teams to optimise pricing and trade investment in customer JBPs.
5. Lead category and brand sprints to define revenue and margin enhancement opportunities around pack, price, promotion, channel and embed into the commercial plans.
6. Ensure appropriate governance and controls are in place for all customer investment.
7. Support the RGM transformation agenda building business capability, data & systems, tools and process to deliver step-changed commercial strategy outcomes.
