Job Description
As a System Protection Solution Architect (m/f/diverse) you are member of a motivated, collaborative, and skilled team of System Protection Specialists in a global environment which supports our System Protection tools. You will be actively involved in delivery, high level design, creating and reviewing prototypes for secure and efficient security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems protection, cybersecurity, and architecture design, ensuring the security and resilience of our systems against threats.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop and lead implementations of System Protection tools and architecture concepts to safeguard IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
2. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
3. High level of collaboration with Tire Cyber Security on a regular basis to define and implement relevant security concepts and ensure compliance with Continental corporate standards
4. Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate existing security solutions (CrowdStrike and Trellix ACC) with internal systems and applications.
5. Perform regular audits and health checks of the System Protection environments to identify necessary improvements
6. Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and associated systems.
7. Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
8. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
9. Multiple years of experience in systems protection, cybersecurity, or related roles, with a focus on architecture and design.
10. Able to review designs thoroughly to make sure they meet the needs of the solution being built
11. Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection.
12. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
13. Thorough knowledge in cybersecurity concepts, including threat modeling, risk management and incident response.
14. Professional working proficiency in English.
15. First experience with CrowdStrike and Trellix ACC is a plus.
16. Working knowledge of ITIL with respect to Incident and Change Management is beneficial.
17. Project management and communication skills.
