We love brands and products As S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) / MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive S&OP process that effectively aligns sales, procurement, and operations to meet business objectives. Your role requires cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and Logistics to create forecasts, determine optimal inventory levels, and execute efficient supply chain strategies. You will work to ensure product availability, manage working capital, and minimize supply chain risks, with a primary focus on planning, inventory, and procurement efficiency. What you will do: S&OP Process Development and Management : Support and implement the Sales & Operations Planning process to align demand and supply, balancing business objectives with market realities Prepare and support monthly S&OP meetings, presenting detailed analyses and actionable insights Demand Planning and Forecasting : Utilize historical data, market trends, and planned marketing initiatives to generate demand forecasts Work closely with Sales and Marketing to understand promotional activity and seasonality, adjusting forecasts accordingly Ensure accurate forecast alignment with business goals to drive inventory optimization Inventory Management : Monitor stock levels, set safety stock and reorder points, and track KPIs (e.g., DOH, fill rate) to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory Procurement Coordination : Translate demand forecasts into procurement plans, balancing lead times, MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity), and supplier capacity Supply Chain Optimization : Improve efficiency across the supply chain by optimizing inventory turnover, working capital, and supplier performance What we are looking for: Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field 5 years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, supply chain management, or a similar role, ideally within an e-commerce or consumer goods company Multiple years experience with SAP S4/Hana MRP Forecast & Demand Planner module for procurement planning and inventory management Proven ability to work with large data sets to create accurate forecasts Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of inventory management principles Experience collaborating across departments to achieve aligned business goals Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Fluency in English What we offer: Flexible and hybrid working model with up to 2 home office days per week Dog friendly and modern office in the heart of Berlin (Spittelmarkt) Ability to work up to 4 weeks per year from abroad Public transport ticket grant, 30% discount on our products and 40% employer's contribution to the company pension plan Active promotion of your development, e.g. through continuous performance feedback, language courses, further training and mental health coaching by the Fürstenberg Institute Daily fresh fruits and vegetables as well as drinks and various health offers e.g. physiotherapy, yoga and back training courses Support by a team of highly skilled and dedicated colleagues who celebrate successes together at numerous company events Who we are: BBG creates, builds and scales consumer brands globally.
