We have offices in Brighton, Brooklyn and Berlin and we are rapidly growing in all markets. As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our Dispatch team. The role As the Dispatch Team Leader you'll play a pivotal role in driving team efficiency and achieving daily targets, excelling at performance tracking, attendance monitoring, and KPI reporting while setting an inspiring example of professionalism, dedication, and positivity. Additionally, you'll oversee quality control, ensure safety compliance, document processes, and facilitate training fostering collaboration, providing guidance, and creating an environment that support your team to succeed. Key responsibilities Take ownership of team performance by providing guidance, monitoring progress, and implementing improvement plans. Oversee attendance, address absences, and manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels. Maintain productive communication through Slack and act as the primary contact for stakeholders and other teams. Monitor daily team output, organize the stockroom, and ensure workflows and deadlines are met. Complete KPI tracking, maintain performance reports, and discuss progress in weekly check-ins with management. Conduct 1:1s, yearly performance reviews, and training to foster team development and growth. Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and maintain seamless workflows. Enforce safety protocols, such as proper battery handling and workspace organization. Address operational challenges like stock issues and transactional errors to minimize disruptions. Step in as needed to support operations during backlogs or team absences. Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, demonstrating the ability to manage and lead a team. Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and make informed decisions. Proficiency in time management to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines. Competence in maintaining a tidy and organised workplace Attention to detail, ensuring a careful handling of items. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly and foster collaboration. Familiarity with relevant tools and software for tracking team performance and reporting.
