Who will you be joining?
The Investigation & Reviews team coordinates and conducts Compliance and Targeted Reviews across the global compliance organization. Additionally, the Investigation & Reviews team is responsible for establishing a global investigation framework, which includes overseeing whistleblowing processes, and managing the execution and direction of internal investigations. You will join and head the Investigations Teams in this department.
How can you make an impact?
You will:
* Lead investigations as part of a rapid reaction task force for ad hoc compliance issues
* Assess, prioritize, and execute complex compliance investigations
* Collaborate with Regions/Global Lines/other entities on delegated investigations
* Provide expert guidance to Compliance Officers at all levels
* Monitor, follow-up, and escalate issues to ensure resolution and compliance, while sharing insights from lessons learned
* Develop and implement governance frameworks for effective investigation processes
* Review and update policies on internal investigations and whistleblowing, ensuring alignment with industry standards
* provide guidance on governance issues related to internal investigations and whistleblowing to enhance organizational integrity
* Ensure accurate global use of the Compliance Case Management Tool (CCMT)
* Present detailed reports and presentations on compliance investigations to senior management
* Analyze case data and CCMT usage to identify trends and provide strategic insights
* Contribute to Sustainability reports and audits
* Fulfil obligations under the Integrity Committee Terms of Reference and prepare reports and minutes
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualification:
* Extensive experience (min 8-10 years relevant experience) and proven competence in managing, leading and conducting complex investigations effectively and efficiently, with international exposure
* Strong expertise in remediation and mitigation measures in an international and multi-cultural environment
* Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and constructively with all levels including senior management, within a multi-cultural organization
* Proven ability to learn, acquire and apply new knowledge and skills in the digital and investigative methodologies, laws, and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
* In-depth knowledge of Insurance business is an advantage
* Strong communication and report writing skills (Fluent English required, additional languages a plus)
* Results driven team player
* Willingness to work across time zones and travel internationally
* Strategic and innovative approach to working in a governance function
* High level of confidentiality and discretion
* German fully qualified lawyer is a plus
