The Role We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to take ownership of our marketing efforts, drive business growth, and ensure brand consistency. This is a freelance or part-time contract role for one year, ideal for an experienced marketing professional who can work independently and confidently challenge leadership decisions when necessary to ensure marketing effectiveness. This role will have an initial term of one year, covering maternity for one of our company founders, working closely with other senior leaders and potential to convert to perm role following initial term. As the Marketing Manager, you will independently structure and execute a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with our business objectives. You will oversee marketing initiatives, ensuring coordination with key industry events, external design and press agencies, and internal stakeholders to maintain a streamlined communication strategy. Please note this is a remote first and part-time role, we are open to anyone working /- 2hrs CET core hours, and flexible on working schedule (2-3 full days per week or a few hours per day over course of working week). How you'll help build one•fıve Develop and execute a structured annual marketing plan, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry events. Own and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, social media, content, paid ads, events, etc.). Hands on social and written content, with support of our press agency. Collaborate with external agencies (design, press, PR) to develop high-quality marketing materials and maintain a strong brand presence. Update and enhance customer-facing materials, including sales decks, technical data sheets, and product brochures, ensuring a cohesive and professional brand presentation. Manage and grow our social media presence, engaging with our audience and analyzing performance metrics. Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.). Work closely with sales and product teams to ensure marketing initiatives support business growth and customer engagement. Challenge and advise leadership team members on marketing best practices when necessary. Who you are Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior marketing role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment. Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of marketing strategy, and drive results. Strong writing and content creation skills, with experience in SEO and digital marketing. Experience with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Canva, and social media management platforms. Demonstrated success in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and optimizing brand positioning. Ability to confidently communicate and challenge leadership when marketing strategy misaligns with business goals. Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
