About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivatedindividual to be a Compliance Officer for both Swiss Re's CorporateSolutions (commercial lines) business and the Reinsurance Solutionsdivision. This role will be part of two broader teams servicingthese businesses in the EMEA region, with a focus on Germanyparticularly for Corporate Solutions where there is a regulatedinsurance carrier. The role will work closely with both businessand Compliance Officers to manage compliance across Germany and thebroader EMEA region. It will focus on monitoring, assessing impactand status of implementation of regulatory requirements relating toCompliance Risks. For Reinsurance Solutions, your focus will be onsupporting the maturing of their compliance processes andframeworks as well as advising on innovative insurance solutionsand services with an emphasis on technology anddigitalisation. In addition, you will: • Monitor, assess and support implementation of regulatorydevelopments relating to Compliance Risks, with a focus on Germanyand the wider EMEA region. • Support thedevelopment and execution of the Swiss Re Compliance Programme andassociated compliance risk frameworks including policies,standards, processes, training and communication. • Establish and maintain relationships with businessstakeholders and provide enabling guidance to the business withrespect to Compliance requirements and implementation of ComplianceRisk Frameworks, with a particular focus on German as well asbroader EMEA requirements. • Support/provideinput to regular and relevant reporting to Senior Management andlocal Board of Directors. • Serve as point ofcontact for the German regulators for the Corporate Solutionsbusiness, in coordination with Governmental Affairs and Legal asrequired. May include actively participating duringregulatory inspections and exams, reviewing and responding toinquiries, and coordinating production of data and file requests.• Support Global Compliance initiatives byproviding input and review on group-wide projects.About theTeamThis is an exciting opportunity to be a crucial member of theCorporate Solutions EMEA Compliance team, as part of the Globalteam. The team is internal business client facing with aninternational footprint and diversity of team members. We provideend-to-end guidance on key Compliance Risks including Anti-MoneyLaundering, International Trade Sanctions, Anti-Bribery &Corruption, Data Protection, Conduct Risk, and others. AboutYou• Fluent in English and German, otherlanguages a plus. • University degree orequivalent qualification • Minimum 5 years'experience in compliance, risk or governance related roles withexperience in the German market • Goodunderstanding of insurance regulatory requirements as applied tothe digital space, including conduct risk and data protection• Solid understanding of compliance risks,particularly anti-money laundering, international trade controls,conduct and data protection • Ability to takeownership and prioritise and work in a highly dynamic and changingmatrix environment • Strong communication,interpersonal and presentation skillsBehavioursWe expect that youalways act with integrity, regardless of the situation.
