What the job looks like
* Leading & empowering the group of engineers, supervisors and technicians
* Engineering projects from concept phase over purchasing & installation to ramp-up phase
* Managing the project business cases & maintenance/project budgets
* Ensuring the effective supply and storage of spare parts
* Planned maintenance activities to keep the machine in basic conditions and implement the PM-Program (Preventive Maintenance)
* Deliver training to technicians and operators as well as analysis of breakdowns
* Supporting other functions with root-cause-analysis as well as supporting technical projects and the implementation of new products & processes
* Ensuring the adherence to the GMP-rules in the pharmaceutical area as well as ensuring the adherence to safety-standards
What you´ll bring to the table
* University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or comparable
* Track record of several years of experience in maintenance, engineering and production roles in the manufacturing area
* Track record in leading teams (high-performing-teams) and proven ability to effectively communicate through and work in a matrix organization in a multinational company
* Strong experience in technical project management
* Strong experience in OPEXc, TPM and PM-programs as well as proven experience in purchasing & installing new lines, machines and technical devices
* Fluency in business English and German
* Proven experience in cultural change and effectively managing and aligning a team (steering committees, goal alignment, leadership development)
* Result driven and value adding: understanding and responding to customer needs, prioritizes, simplifies and acts efficiently
