We’re looking for a
Deputy Boutique Manager (m/f/d)
for our Boutique in Düsseldorf.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Management & People Development
1. Create a positive and productive boutique environment by leveraging both personal and team savoir-faire to create a highly collaborative network at all times.
2. Ensure the day-to-day management, training, coaching & motivation of the boutique team.
3. Monitor individual objectives, evaluate individual performance, and support personal development and talent development under the supervision of the Boutique Manager.
4. Ensure the proper knowledge & respect by all members of the team of the processes and Maison’s procedures at all stages of the sales ceremony.
5. Be responsible for the integration of newcomers.
6. Follow up on training and sales coaching with the direct report.
7. Evaluate, set and monitor the performance and objectives for the direct report.
Boutique Operations & Administration
1. Supervise and be responsible for the back office and administration of the boutique.
2. Oversee the boutique expenses and ensure the execution and delivery in time of all boutique reports.
3. Implement and monitor all brand and boutique policies, procedures and guidelines.
4. Respect all group, Maison and boutique policies, procedures and guidelines.
5. Participate in the set up and breakdown of the boutique.
Boutique Performance
1. Assist the Boutique Manager to make a diagnosis based on a solid performance analysis, review of competencies and environment to define action plans to achieve brand & boutique targets.
2. Lead the implementation and monitoring of the boutique action plans.
3. Assist the Boutique Manager to optimize boutique quantitative and qualitative performance, notably through the breakdown of all boutique targets into monthly, daily and individual targets.
4. Be responsible for the store turnover and for achieving sales objectives.
5. Ensure the development and strengthen the relationship with existing clients by encouraging appropriate actions and sales follow-up by the team.
6. Assist the boutique manager to monitor the boutique KPIs.
Client Relationship & Portfolio Development
1. Act as an Ambassador of the Maison and support the Boutique Manager to enlarge the boutique clients’ portfolio, grow loyalty and build direct contacts with new clienteles as well as VIPs.
2. Master a strong knowledge of the boutique clienteles and assess local market opportunities, assisting the Boutique Manager in the development of a proactive and effective client development strategy, implementing & monitoring relevant CRM programs and actions and their ROI.
3. Actively contribute to the organization & coordination of clients’ treatments and boutique events.
4. Follow up the quality of clients data registration.
5. Ensure that the teams are consistently providing an exceptional client experience (client gifting) and maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
6. Ensure staff’s appearance: uniforms, personal presentation, language, attitude with clients.
7. Act as a key contact in the boutique for transversal and digital projects.
Boutique Experience
1. Monitor the boutique welcoming & flows’ fluidity (waiting time, space organization, clients’ journeys...), and co-lead the Continuous Improvement process.
2. Contribute to growing and enriching the in-boutique service offer, ensuring a highly professional & unique client treatment and experience excellence: boutique’s identity, in-store experiences, VM & services.
3. Carefully monitor the Client Experience Barometer boutique performance, elaborate & implement the related action plans.
What you will bring along:
1. 5-7 years of experience in selling luxury items, ideally in the jewellery and/or watch industry plus relevant management experience.
2. Excellent communication skills in German and English.
3. Strong leadership skills and a keen sense for our customers.
4. Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
5. Resilient team player with a confident, open and appropriate demeanor.
6. Exact and precise working methods and ideally knowledge of SAP or a similar merchandise management program.
