About this role About the team: The Global Event Marketing team's mission is to support the firm in delivering industry leading, experience-led events that drive commercial and reputational results. About the role: We're looking for a senior events professional that has proven experience in event strategy, end-to-end project management, C-suite stakeholder management and experiential marketing. In this role you will be responsible for leading and supporting the planning and execution of executive-driven global events. You will be able to confidently drive projects and make recommendations to partners whilst implementing events best practice. In the role, you'll partner closely with your business stakeholders to develop and execute key events across all event formats. What you'll do: - Project manage high complexity global executive events across formats (in-person, virtual and hybrid), infusing customized, out-of-the-box ideas and solutions - Provide strategic direction on events to include experience design, activations concepts, and amplification plans - Collaborate with business stakeholders as a thought partner in translating Event Briefs and regional or global priorities into strategic creative concepts to support the narrative - Drive project management for key priority events from inception to execution with support teams - Interface with senior executives both internal and external, while providing excellent customer service - Post event reporting - Budget management including contracting, negotiation and reconciliation Who you are: - At least 10 years of related experience within professional services, financial or in-house corporate environment - Prior experience leading executive events within the financial services industry, such as The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group - Proven experience leading events involving c-suite executives - High energy, problem solver, self-starter, results orientated and proactive individual - Able to think outside of the box, with the ability to balance "big picture" thinking with tactical execution - Comfort in operating in a multiple stakeholder environment and across various time zones and regions - Experience leading and influencing at all cross-functional levels of an organization - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage c-suite executives effectively - P&L responsibility - Proficient in Microsoft products including SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Event Technologies (i.e Cvent) preferred - Willingness and ability to travel globally as needed and ability to adapt to multi-cultural environments.
