Responsibilities:
1. Provide leadership and direction to the Central Europe (DACH) Beverage Sales Team.
2. Full responsibility to meet the 5 years Beverage Business Plan for Central Europe (DACH) (2024-2027).
3. Lead and drive beverage commercial activities for ADM Human Nutrition in Central Europe (DACH) to achieve financial and strategic goals in the region.
4. Direct, develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies in line with the EMEA Market Segment and Sales strategies to maximize margins and deliver revenue growth.
5. Identify opportunities and generate profitable sales in both, new and existing accounts to meet and exceed business, revenue, margin and pipeline goals.
6. Monitor and review customer sales activity as well as strategic amendments and make strategy adjustments as needed.
7. Support the development of innovative Sales, Marketing and Portfolio Strategies in line with the Market Segment and Platform strategies.
8. Monitor, review and adjust sales activities based on KPIs and identify market potential in the region.
9. Identify key decision makers and build a strong relationships with selected Key Accounts to understand and create business opportunities.
10. Direct cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leverage relationships in order to better position our broad and innovative product and service portfolio.
11. Facilitate regular meetings with key decision makers at clients and relevant stakeholders at ADM.
12. Evaluate performance and product pipeline and receive updates from clients on challenges and future business plans.
13. Work with sales and customer service teams to understand customer needs and develop creative solutions for eventual account issues.
14. Collaborate with the Market Segment, Platform and Marketing Managers (f.e. citrus, colors, alcohol, H&W, etc.) to expand the business across all ingredient and focus platforms.
15. Attend industry events (conferences, exhibitions and trade shows) to enhance sales and marketing efforts and to raise company awareness.
16. Create, present and provide key performance reports, market analysis, services provided and future projects to senior management.
17. Based on your personal expertise, motivate, manage and mentor your teams and keep an effective environment for productive relationships with peers, clients and management.
18. Enhance the talent of the team to enable it to meet the growing expectations and to manage the broader ADM portfolio.
19. Reporting to the Sales Director Beverage EMEA.
Your profile:
20. Degree in food technology or business administration.
21. Several years of experience in the B2B beverage, food, dairy and ingredients business.
22. Knowledge and commercial contacts to the beverage and food market in DACH region.
23. Team player with strong communication skills and proven leadership capabilities.
24. Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to work under pressure.
25. Independent and structured way of working.
26. Strong customer, service orientation and proven negotiation and technology skills.
27. Flexible and willingness to travel regularly within the region.
28. Excellent English and German.
