We have an exciting opportunity as: Manager Smart & Bi-directional Charging (All genders welcome) in the Customer Experience Strategy and Solutions department at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany Job mission: Kia is expanding its Electrification plan with a new strategic role: Manager Smart & Bidirectional Charging. This position is pivotal in enhancing Kia Charge for public and home charging, catering to both private and business customers. The role aims to elevate the EV charging experience and optimize energy consumption, aligning with our CX Strategy & Solutions. You'll help define, develop, and implement a holistic smart and bidirectional charging solution as part of our mission to attract new customers. Your responsibilities: Product Ownership: Define and manage the roadmap for Kia Smart & Bidirectional Charging solutions (hardware, software, frontend, backend). Update the roadmap with new trends and requirements from the evolving EV infrastructure environment. Business Development: Select and negotiate with partners and suppliers, ensuring alignment with Kia Charge's home and semi-public solutions. Support procurement and integrate solutions into the Kia platform. Roadmap Roll-Out: Evaluate the compatibility of local home charging solutions with smart and bidirectional charging. Develop business plans for each market based on technical requirements and vehicle development. Project Management: Coordinate all internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful target achievement. Manage roll-out plans with National Sales Companies, headquarters, and third-party suppliers. Adapt solutions' scalability to the company's long-term plans. Your talents: Education: University degree with a focus on renewable energy technology or business administration Minimum 5 years’ experience in charging business and eco-system (OEM, eMSP, CPO, PSP, SaaS…) Experience with Software development on charging solution (UI, UX, IT protocols, API exchanges, IT backend, PSP… Proven expertise in smart and bidirectional charging activities. Strong project management skills with a cross-functional approach. Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to develop new initiatives. Ability to manage complex charging solutions for a seamless experience. Vision for holistic development of home charging and energy management solutions. Experience with Software as a Service (UX, UI, protocols, APIs, backend, and support). Successful track record in implementing cross-functional projects. Fluent in English (written and spoken); an additional European language constitutes an advantage High potential to manage direct and cross-functional teams Who are we?
