FundPartner Solutions provides a full suite of fund administration and private label funds services. The global team of industry experts specialises in fund domiciliation, registration and governance, as well as risk compliance and investment management services.
Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems and trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.
The Senior Risk Manager Funds Administration Services is responsible for supporting the Funds Administration Services department in managing operational risks and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
The Fund Ops team covers TA, FA, Valuing Assets, Transformation (project management) and Outsourcing of activities (Ops and IT). The products scope currently includes UCITS and Alternatives Funds.
This role involves proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, and collaborating closely with Fund Ops teams to integrate risk management practices into operational activities. This shall be performed through the entire live cycle (i.e. from new services/products approval through design of new solutions and operational activities).
Your role
* Risk identification and assessment : Support the identification and evaluation of Fund Ops risks. Contribute to the development of a comprehensive risk map. Assist in regular reporting to the central functions of the Group.
* Internal control system oversight : Assist the L1 in implementing and managing the internal control system for Fund Ops. Ensure the effectiveness of first-level controls and assist with second-level controls. Provide periodic reports on the state and efficiency of the internal control framework.
* Audit coordination : Support internal and external audit activities. Act as a liaison for Fund Ops teams and auditors to ensure smooth and effective audit processes.
* Risk mitigation and audit follow-up : Assist in the development and execution of risk mitigation plans. Support the implementation of audit recommendations.
* Risk tolerance and key risk indicators (KRIs) : Assist in defining the organisation’s Fund Ops risk tolerance levels. Develop and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) to ensure alignment with the bank’s risk management strategy.
* Due diligence and regulatory compliance : Provide risk management information related to RFPs, due diligence questionnaires and inquiries from customers and regulatory authorities. Ensure that accurate information is provided in time to meet requirements.
* Continuous improvement : Promote a culture of continuous improvement within Fund Ops. Encourage the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness of the Fund Ops Risk function.
Your profile
Qualifications and experience:
* University degree or equivalent
* At least 8 years’ experience in Operational Risk or Funds Audit.
Specific knowledge:
* In-depth knowledge of Ops Risk management frameworks and methodologies.
* Experience in identifying, assessing and mitigating operational risks.
* Proficiency in designing, implementing and managing internal control systems.
* Ability to conduct and oversee first and second-level controls.
* Thorough understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
* Funds and Luxembourg market regulatory environment subject matter expertise.
Language skills:
* Written and spoken fluency in French and English.
* Another language would be considered an advantage.
Personal qualities:
* Strong analytical skills to assess risks, interpret data and develop effective risk management strategies.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to identify and address risks proactively.
* Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in risk assessments, reports and compliance activities.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
