Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world Responsibilities: Management of DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding), delivery reliability, and delivery capability goals Responsibility for the scheduling and planning of the production of our chemical specialties, considering plant and personnel capacities as well as demand and inventory levels Continuous optimization of planning, ordering requirements, and resulting inventory quantities according to business principles and in alignment with inventory goals Sequencing and campaign planning to reduce cleaning efforts and potential cross-contamination, in collaboration with production management and product managers Independent rescheduling/replanning for urgent customer requirements and coordination of material distribution during bottlenecks, in close coordination with sales Ensuring the flow of information along the supply chain in case of supply and capacity bottlenecks, resolving bottlenecks together with production management and procurement Development of standards and meaningful KPIs for comparing actual vs. planned production and planning processes, taking into account profitability, quality, and on-time delivery Leading monthly meetings to assess the current supply and inventory situation based on KPIs, as well as forecasting the coming months based on current sales development and planning figures Initiating, leading, and participating in interdisciplinary improvement projects across all areas of the supply chain Assisting in the planning of repairs and maintenance in the production and logistics areas Qualifications: Completed university degree in Production Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Information Systems, or Process Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's) 3 years of experience in production planning and related fields, experience in demand planning is desirable High understanding of planning processes, experience in process manufacturing is an advantage Strong customer orientation, structured, solution-oriented working style, and pronounced analytical skills High IT affinity, proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, SAP (especially MM), and BI tools Strong communication skills, team spirit, and flexibility Fluent in English, both written and spoken The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
