Your role and responsibilities
You will serve as a service technician in the specialized Human System Interface department, focusing on service requests and orders. Your key responsibilities include:
* Collaboration in executing service contracts and maintaining systems and installations for critical infrastructure.
* Administration of Windows servers and clients, networks, backups, group policies, and providing technical support for national and international customers.
* Travel is required for approximately 50% of your time, with 70% of that travel occurring within Germany.
* Coordinating and defining work processes, execution, and other tasks on-site with customers.
* Preparing reports and protocols, and updating related documents such as system overviews, functional diagrams, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
* Maintaining and increasing customer satisfaction through excellent service throughout all project phases.
Qualifications for the role
* Completion of vocational training or a degree in information/electrical engineering or a comparable field.
* Ideal experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in engineering.
* Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* Familiarity with network technology, IT security, virtualization (VMWare), Active Directory, WSUS, and Acronis. Initial experience with ABB 800xA and ABB Melody is ideal.
* Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
* A strong focus on occupational safety and commitment to adhering to safety guidelines.
* A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to stay informed about new technologies.
* A collaborative and solution-oriented working style, along with strong communication skills.
