Join us on this exciting journey to transform the vacation rental industry Your future contribution As the Strategy & Operations Manager, you will work directly with the senior management team and report to our Managing Directors. Rest assured, you will be involved in and contribute to the most important initiatives and projects - whatever is priority for the leaders of the company is also your priority. Whether it’s goal planning, immediate project support, or developing a strategy paper - you will be at the frontline of it. In the best case scenario, this position allows for a fast-track transition into a future leadership role at Smoobu. How you’ll add value Collaborate closely with the Managing Directors to drive both individual and collaborative key initiatives that foster growth and scalability across the organization. Maintain open communication with the Managing Directors to discuss strategic matters, current challenges, and upcoming projects. Own and drive cross-functional initiatives working with various stakeholders across the organization. Prepare and pre-align strategy in close alignment with the Senior Management. Conceptualize and calculate new business opportunities or reiterate existing efforts across the organization. Support teams in urgent situations to create a meaningful impact where it’s needed most. Take ownership of or develop new projects with empowerment from Senior Management. You’ll be successful in this role if you You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to adapt to various counterparts and drive collaboration effectively. You have a minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in a Start-Up, Scale-Up, or Management Consulting environment, with a significant advantage if it is within the SaaS/software industry. Basic project management skills are essential, including the ability to work independently, initiate activities, prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results on time. You have demonstrated strong analytical and organizational abilities and can work efficiently while setting priorities effectively. You are eager to learn, approaching new tasks and projects with an open mind, and view challenges as opportunities for personal and professional growth. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is a strong plus.
