About the Role As the Program CEO of complex, high revenue program, the Senior Program Manager leads the cross-functional team to develop and launch product and services acting as the key customer interface to set program objectives, balance profit, quality performance and timing while managing launch risk and change management through launch and into stable production. Your Team Team 1 is your core team responsible for development and launch of a compelling product that meets internal/external customer requirements and promotes customer satisfaction. The purpose of Team 1 is to deliver the product in accordance with development milestones into stable production and to meet operating profit targets over program life. The Team1 consists of sales, design, product sourcing, manufacturing and quality roles and is led by the Senior Program Manager. What You Will Do Assemble a team to develop and launch a product or service Define program objectives and ways of working and communicating externally and internally Drive the execution of the program as overall program responsible Responsible to deliver the product according to agreed targets (schedule, BOM costs, budget costs, quality) Balance triple constraint of cost, timing and quality performance to program objectives Manage changes and program risk while executing the product development and launch process, Supervise Scope Management (internal / external CCBs) Active support of sales pursuit team in steering during RFI/RFQ-phase to compile feasibility studies, product performance specification and offer documentation Top level planning and controlling w/r to schedule and budget Close technical alignment with functional departments Regular meetings with OEM-customer for all aspects of technical status, program progress and product alignment Transition from prototyping to production incl. Ramp-up Reporting towards customer and internally incl. management board (CEO-level) Execution of defined Value Management measures and active support in ideation process for cost saving initiatives Maintenance support after SOP90 days What You Need Bachelor of Science in a technical field or equivalent experience. Minimum 5-10 years product development and/or program management experience with specific experience in at least one area of technical specialization (software, hardware, mechanical or manufacturing) preferably in an automotive application. Developed and launched at least 1-2 complex products through the lifecycle from business commitment through stable production.
