About the Job We’re looking for an experienced Tool Hook-Up Project Manager Fab (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies to manage and oversee the installation, connection, and initial setup of semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a fabrication facility. In your day-to-day work, you will focus on ensuring efficient and effective tool hookup processes while also having the opportunity to contribute to various projects. In this role, you’ll: Lead the planning and execution of tool hookup projects in the wafer fab Manage utility requirements, space allocation, and tool placement strategies Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth integration of new tools into existing systems Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and risk assessments Ensure adherence to cleanroom protocols and safety standards Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance hookup efficiency and reduce costs Your Profile Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor fab management or tool hookup roles Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering PMI certification (PMP or equivalent) Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment Excellent project management skills, including risk management and stakeholder communication Proficiency in project management software and tools Native proficiency in German and good English skills (written and spoken) Desired Skills: Experience with 300mm wafer fabrication technology Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application in semiconductor fabs Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Please note that we’re looking for support in the Aachen office of our portfolio company.
