THE ROLE

At IGEL, we know that the key to growth is in a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) for our team in Romania to help to turn leads into qualified opportunities.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop opportunities from prospecting and marketing generated leads
* Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
* Interact with prospects and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential business opportunities in the market
* Promoting and marketing IGEL’s business through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails, and other communication(s) tools to prospective clients
* Create target prospects lists, penetrate key accounts, identify, and contact key players
* Profile strategic accounts, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
* Set up meetings and/or calls between (prospective) customers and our sales executives
* Diligently update data into the CRM, stay on top of your leads, follow-up and report
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* 1-2 years of proven work experience in a similar role, business development or sales is of advantage
* Career changers are also welcome to apply
* Experience in the Virtualization (VDI) industry would be a strong plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities; empathic listener and persuasive speaker
* Must be a self-starter, curious, analytical, detailed-oriented, resilient, a hunting character, and have the proven ability to perform in a fast-moving environment with minimal supervision
* Proven creative problem-solving approach and a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
