We are recruiting a Treasury expert for our client, a leading and innovative international business. As the company continues to grow successfully, they are going through a significant reorganisation to help support and enable the ongoing growth curve. As part of this, we have identified the need to hire support for the business.
The organisation has a global shared service centre and is looking to hire someone to support the group and be part of the Corporate Treasury function. The successful individual in this role will be responsible for collaborating with the Head of Treasury to deliver effective and efficient Treasury guidance and support the accounting department in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements.
Treasury Expert Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for liquidity management, cash management, intercompany, payment transactions, scheduling, FX, currency, and interest rate hedging
* Escalate and solve unresolved and overdue incidents, requests, and changes within Treasury Management Systems.
* Function as the Treasury desk: handling business unit requests and updating Treasury rules according to the latest standards.
* Organises and contributes to the Treasury steering group.
* Provide internal training and presentations if and where required
* Support various inter-company financing, commercial papers, syndicated loans, and capital market transactions.
Profile:
* A preferred academic degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration
* Over three years of experience in the field of Treasury in a capital-market-oriented company or audit firm
* Strong knowledge of the Treasury and, preferably, knowledge of other accounting principles (Local-GAAP, IFRS)
* Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems is desirable, and other IT Systems such as SAP
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Certified in accounting principles (e.g. CPA, CFA, CMA) is a nice to have
