Does this sound interesting?Then come and join our global team as Head (f/m/d) of Export Control and Customs EMEA to support our strategy and its global implementation. Your tasks and responsibilities:
1. You establish and administrate a regional Zone and Country Export Control and Customs(ECC) department with 40+ disciplinary and 80+ functional reports in EMEA.
2. You execute the strategic development strategy within the global framework.
3. You implement the Siemens Healthineers ECC Policy in all legal entities in scope, to achieve corporate objectives.
4. You elaborate, implement, enforceand controlthe internal control program, resulting guidelines, organization, corporate processes, training and review programs within EMEA.
5. You incorporate Export Control and Customs requirements into business strategies, processes and models
6. You review and controlECC activities within EMEA, including reporting to responsible CEOs, CFOs and ECC head.
7. You manage the legal entities' interests in customs matters (e.g.,authorization for simplified procedures, export licenses, etc.), taking full responsibility for governmental audits and maintaining effective relationship management.
8. You collaborate with the ECC Rules and Regulations team on transactional and “Know Your Customer” processesin all full embargo countries in EMEA. For all other countries, you take full ownership of export control matters, including the trade of dual-use goods and sanctions screening, ensuring compliance within the established IT framework.
9. You provide expert guidance and share best practices with the relevant legal entities, including organizing and supporting local working group meetings, actively participating in regional ECC meetings, and contributing to global working group initiatives.
Your qualifications and experience:
10. You hold a degree in Business Administration, Trade or Law.
11. You bring at least 10 years' experience in Export Control and Customs (ECC) functions.
12. You have several yearsof international leadership experience with and without direct leadership responsibility.
13. You have strong IT affinity, demonstrated through solid knowledge of SAP, data analytics, andstate of the artIT applications.
14. You are experienced in project management(e.g. strategic organizational and subject matter driven projects).
