As a leader in product management and application engineering, you will establish a clear vision for product management and application engineering, develop comprehensive product roadmaps, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive product development processes. You will also engage with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement or new product development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear vision for product management and application engineering that aligns with the company's overall strategic goals.
* Market Analysis & Customer Insights: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape dynamics. Focus on applications within BESS, electric vehicles (EVs), and industrial sectors.
* Product Development & Lifecycle Management: Lead cross-functional teams comprising R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure cohesive product development processes. Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation through commercialization, including defining product specifications, overseeing design and testing phases, and developing go-to-market strategies.
* Financial Performance & Optimization: Develop and manage budgets for product lines, ensuring alignment with financial goals and resource allocation. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor product performance in the marketplace. Analyze data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements include multiple years of experience in product management within the battery industry, with a focus on lead-acid and lithium technologies. A strong understanding of batteries, manufacturing processes, and application engineering principles is essential, as well as familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to battery safety and environmental impact. Exceptional leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills are required to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
