As the Team Lead for Pricing Strategy (m/f/d), you will be fully responsible for the continuous development and optimization of market-appropriate pricing strategies to ensure positioning and profitability. In this key role, you will work closely with the Sales, Purchasing, and Controlling departments to define, drive, and implement new pricing strategies for various markets, locations, and product groups.
In particular, you will
* leading the Price Engine & Data Science team as well as a Business Analyst, and reporting to the Head of Pricing & Analytics
* implementing and leading cross-departmental pricing rounds to manage and moderate the development and tactical adjustment of pricing strategies and rules to achieve and maintain defined group goals
* organizing and overseeing pricing within the framework of re-pricing, re-ruling, and re-modeling cycles
* ensuring the effective and target-group-oriented preparation of insights, analyses, and recommendations for action to describe, evaluate, and optimize pricing strategies and their effectiveness
* creating cross-departmental transparency regarding the effects of pricing strategies and competitiveness and establishing reporting tools that support informed pricing decisions
* ensuring the alignment of quantitative pricing goals with qualitative goals of price perception and activation
* establishing and ensuring a process and governance framework for consistent pricing architecture with high data quality
Preferred Profile
* Completed master’s degree or equivalent qualification with a focus on business, as well as at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including disciplinary leadership experience of minimum 3 employees
* Strong strategic and analytical thinking with a passion for (pricing) strategy and revenue management
* Outstanding communication skills, particularly the ability to influence and foster consensus, including a talent to engage and persuade senior executives with clear, compelling narratives and evidence-based analyses
* Excellent data storytelling skills and advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, for conveying and simplifying complex content
* Exceptional skill in cross-departmental internal and external stakeholder management in all hierarchy levels
* Team spirit, self-responsibility, self-motivation, and a high standard of quality
* Fluent German and English skills
