Our External Fulfillment Procurement Solution Team is growing and we are hiring a Procurement Specialist with European-wide scope to join the team in our European Headquarters in lovely Luxembourg. OVERVIEW As a Sourcing Specialist, support Procurement and business teams by delivering operational purchasing tasks and specific project assignments, as well as engage in process improvements within the scope of the team. This includes low-medium risk sourcing projects, identifying savings opportunities, leading / supporting projects and initiatives, documents and training creation, identifying root cause of issues and corrective actions and other support activities aimed at sourcing operations optimization. Key job responsibilities · Define and implement sourcing initiatives, contracts and catalogs implementation/maintenance to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers · Own saving projects and deliver value to the business · Deliver SLA for internal customer · Use Strategic Sourcing methodology to deliver value · Identify alternate suppliers and/or alternate materials/processes · Support Kaizen and continuous improvement projects · Drive effective delivery of the EF procurement metrics by leading / supporting projects and initiatives identifying root cause of issues and corrective actions · Ensure effective stakeholder relationships with our internal customers and suppliers · Participate in cross-functional improvement projects · Utilize multiple databases and systems to deliver accurate metrics, reporting and analytics to measure effectiveness of team performance · Prioritize requirements, highlight any missing information and risks to business and challenge for clarification in time Basic Qualifications • Advanced in MS Office – in particular MS Excel and BI tools • Language requirements: Fluency in English and at least 1 European language • High precision in verbal and written communication • Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment, good time management skills Preferred Qualifications • Background in defining, developing, and implementing sourcing initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership and mitigate supply risk • Experience in spend assessment, market analysis, understanding trends and defining forecast • Ability to make effective escalation decision • Good attention to detail and organizational skills and insist on the highest standards • Master Degree in Economics or Engineering Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
