Job Summary
Administrative Support: Provides administrative and clerical support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details. May coordinate messages, appointments, information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies and mail. Researches, compiles and proofs word processing assignments. Operates automated office equipment. May be assigned to various functional areas of the company.

The types of tasks this individual is responsible for are a mix of regular and unstructured, and processes they use to complete work are not always clearly defined. - This individual has developed an area of expertise and handles a variety of tasks that are moderate to complex in scope.
Identifies problems and generates recommendations and possible solutions.
Manage special projects, which may include equipment management, training new hires on policies and procedures, project coordination and logistics, documentation and collateral coordination, and acting as a liaison to Human Resources.
Participate in operational task forces.
Analyze basic spreadsheet models and track projects.
Little instruction is provided by management on routine work, and general instructions are provided on new.
Handle highly confidential and critical information with the utmost discretion.
Collect and prepare sensitive information for discussions and meetings with internal staff and external individuals.
Analyze problems, determine approaches, compile and analyze data, and prepare reports and recommendations.
Interaction:
This individual interacts primarily with Staff to Director level employees within the function, and the technical team on assigned projects. There may be interaction with employees in other functions as required.
Utilizes strong communication and interpersonal skills to promote teamwork, and motivate, coach and guide other team members.
Contact company personnel at all levels to gather information and prepare reports.
Job Requirements
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to edit copy or communications for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
Strict attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of secretarial, office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment.
Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, including Executives.
Solid Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
