Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Accountant, responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB). You will ensure timely and accurate submission to the Group while providing expert advice to stakeholders from an accounting and process perspective.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB guidelines
* Provide expert advice to stakeholders on accounting and process matters
* Proactively improve accounting processes and implement solutions for optimization and harmonization
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned units, auditors, tax advisors, authorities, and other internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax, or a related field
* Several years of relevant professional experience in Accounting functions
* Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, ideally including German tax law
* Excellent analytical skills, high level of engagement, and independent work approach
* Comprehensive experience with SAP R/3 in the FI module
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with good German language skills required

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
