ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a driven and dynamic Senior Accountant to join our team at Talon.One. In this role, you will work closely with our CFO, Accounting Lead, and FP&A team, across our four entities. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB & IFRS, leading audit workstreams, and assisting in the consolidation of all four Talon.One entities. You will collaborate with Accounting and Controlling/FP&A, giving you a deep understanding of our business through its financials. As part of a lean and growing team, you will have significant opportunities to shape processes, contribute to ad-hoc projects, and drive efficiencies within the finance function. This is a full-time position based in Berlin, with a hybrid working setup. ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL: Involvement in ongoing accounting for Talon.One Group, ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB & IFRS Lead audit processes and communication with external advisors Support the consolidation of financials across all Talon.One entities Collaborate cross-functionally with tax advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations Proactively contribute to reporting and financial planning, improving efficiency and transparency Engage in ad-hoc projects that enhance team and company-wide financial performance WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE: A completed degree or training in accounting, finance, or tax-related fields; ACCA/ACA certification is a plus 7 years of experience of most recently as a Senior or Group Accountant Strong experience in preparing annual financial statements (HGB & IFRS) and deep knowledge of German commercial and tax law Proficiency in DATEV and Microsoft Office applications A proactive, hands-on approach, with strong problem-solving and project management skills Excellent communication skills in English and a structured, detail-oriented work ethic A team player mindset, dedicated to compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: Learning budget and LinkedIn Learning 30 vacation days Remote-work abroad up to 90 days In-house German language courses Discounted Urban Sports Club membership and BVG ticket Work-Dog-Balance, your best friend is more than welcome Mental health support with Nilo.health
