As a working student in Group Sustainability of RWE AG, you will be an integral part of the team that drives climate-related tasks and projects but also experience the steering of further strategic sustainability priorities. You will work on material topics for the RWE Group and will gain a good understanding about the increasing role of climate in the core processes of the company. You will contribute to the analysis of different climate and energy scenarios and their implication for the RWE business, the assessment of transition and physical risks of the Group and support the preparation of forecasts and analyses as part of RWE’s broader planning processes.
About the role
* Support of climate-related tasks and projects, e.g. analysis of climate scenarios, physical and transition climate risk assessment and RWE Group’s emission forecast.
* Conduct research on climate-related topics and summarise key findings.
* Prepare climate and sustainability events, e.g. Climate Week NYC and COP Climate conference.
* Assist in preparing reports, presentations and other materials related to climate and sustainability initiatives.
Job requirements and experience
* Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. environmental or climate science, economics, engineering, or a related field).
* Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Passion for climate and sustainability topics.
* Good understanding of the climate landscape and basic familiarity with scenarios and risk standards.
* Fluent in English.
Advantageous, but not essential
* German language skills.
