Then you might be the right person to support our engineering team at its headquarter in Stolberg near Aachen, located in the border triangle of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, at the earliest possible date as a Tasks: As part of CAE’s Europe and Africa sales & marketing team, the position of Senior Capture Manager is responsible for achieving significant order intake for strategic pan-European and African opportunities, generally in magnitude of €50-150M major opportunities Typically focused on 1 or 2 very large opportunities, engaging clients/partners/governments and defense forces, lead and develop Capture Management Strategy Communicate and execute disciplined Capture Management Plan including price to win, competitive analysis, and drive an international, multi-disciplined team of resources in accordance with the plan Understands and articulates customer problem space – translate to CAE Operations teams and influence technology, R&D and product roadmaps as well as recommends appropriate business models to align interests and position CAE for maximum success Support the development and positioning of CAE capabilities to win within the Europe and African defense and other strategic growth markets Critical leadership position responsible for the development and execution of assigned large opportunity strategies and capture/pursuit plans Makes actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements Manage key OEM/partners to a successful CAE relationship and outcomes Lead complex pursuit and capture teams, developing win themes and strategy as a team Accountable for budget/expenses associated with approved pursuits and capture strategy Develop Pursue/No Pursue governance information and executes CAE governance requirements as defined by policy Manage pursuit budgets, in conjunction with the assigned capture manager.
