This position is currently advertised as a parental leave replacement and is limited to 12 months
For our location in Ratingen we are looking for you as a Warranty & Technical Service employee (m/f/d) with immediate effect.
You will be part of the Marketing department and will be responsible for processing warranty claims and complaints in the Technical Service team.
What you can expect:
* In this position, you will be responsible for recording, processing, documenting and analysing incoming warranty claims from our customers and subsidiaries.
* You will carry out claims processing by recording claims in Babtec; this includes sending parts to the supplier, documenting and analysing internal parts and monitoring shipping.
* Monitoring quality metrics to quickly identify deviations or issues in product quality would also be part of your role. If necessary, comprehensive measures will be initiated with the category management team.
* You will also post credit notes from suppliers. This includes checking supplier credit notes for accepted complaints and data entry in the Babtec software
* You support our branches with complaints, complaint processing, error clarification (cause of damage), technical information, counterfeit analyses and are the interface to category management.
What you offer:
* You ideally have technical training in the automotive sector, ideally with a vocational baccalaureate (‘Kfz -Techniker*in’, ‘Kfz- Meister*in’, ‘Kfz-Technikermeister*in’, or comparable) and/or experience in quality assurance.
* You have at least three years of relevant experience in the automotive industry in the field of product quality and warranty.
* You have a good general understanding of the spare parts business, general knowledge of automotive technology and ideally knowledge of automotive electrics/electronics.
* You have a good knowledge of MS Excel and are familiar with databases and ‘Tec-doc’ or similar systems.
* You are fluent in written and spoken German and are familiar with technical English in this field.
