TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the operational management of the production departments – about 43 colleagues full continuous.
You drive for outstanding results in Product Quality, including Safety, Environmental compliance, and Employee Engagement:
1. Responsibility for the optimization of operational and technical functions in terms of quality parameters, delivery capability, GMP requirements, costs, Safety, output and productivity
2. Supervises and steers production scheduling to accomplish the S&OP planning
3. Collaborates closely and effectively with the Plant Director to optimize plant results
4. Efficient use of personnel and machine capacities as well as long-term and strategic development of the site
5. Develops a high performance, engaged team through education, training, coaching, and teamwork
6. Drives and support the development of a safe working environment and environmental activities through committees, audits, procedures, and training
7. Fosters a culture and mindset of customer centricity, continuous improvement, empowerment, entrepreneurial and teamwork
8. Highlight opportunities for quality and cost savings
9. Participation in (international) projects
10. Compliance with and monitoring of safety, quality and hygiene regulations (ISO, GMP, Food Defense, Food Fraud, Change- Management)
Qualifications
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
11. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
12. Solid experience in Production Management is required, preferably in a mature production organization (food, pharma, chemical, Automotive etc) with solid and proven processes
13. You have a good understanding of Chemistry and can trouble shoot on the shop floor if necessary
14. Outstanding people manager who motivates and inspires teams – leading people through change processes. You are an inspiring leader who takes care of their team
15. Excellent interpersonal skills to build confidence and trust amongst teammates, peers, subordinates, superiors, unions
16. German mother tongue and business fluency in English
17. You like to initiate change processes, have very good conceptual skills and can inspire others for your ideas
18. Knowledge in Quality Systems ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO 22000 & ISO 50001 GMP standards, Food fraud and Food defense
