Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced, innovative, and open-minded manager to lead the Techno-Economic Engineering Department of Battery Storage Systems for our client. This role involves spearheading the optimal integration of renewable generation plants through advanced storage systems, ensuring project development success through technical and economic expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee technology, data analysis, and battery marketing efforts.
* Support the development and implementation of large-scale battery storage projects.
* Develop and refine processes, quality standards, and project structures in an international context.
* Provide operational support on various issues related to battery storage projects.
* Manage and coordinate team growth and development.
* Serve as a key advisor for technical decisions.
* Ensure alignment of individual and team goals with overall departmental objectives.
* Handle complex topics involving technology, regulation, and business.
* Promote interdisciplinary collaboration across departments and countries.
* Exhibit strategic thinking and optimization capabilities.
* Innovate corporate organizational designs.
Your Profile
* Extensive technical expertise from relevant training and/or studies.
* Proven experience in planning, project management, and executing large-scale plant engineering projects.
* Deep understanding of techno-economic design and system design of battery storage systems.
* Solution-oriented mindset with a capacity for decision-making support at the operational level.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large teams and implementing new leadership concepts.
* Strong communication skills, high initiative, goal orientation, and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Talent for coordinating people and active listening.
* Structured, independent, service-oriented work approach with an eye for detail.
* Fluency in German and advanced proficiency in English.
