Within HZB's Facility Management (FM), the Department of Building and Systems Engineering (FM-T) is the leading administrative organisational unit for the operation of the technical infrastructure and technical building equipment at the Berlin-Wannsee and Berlin-Adlershof sites.
Your Tasks
* You will be responsible for around 40 employees in the FM-T department, which is growing all the time. You will be responsible for human resources management within the team, planning and managing human resources, helping to recruit new employees and being the first point of contact for colleagues in the team.
* You will be leading interdisciplinary planning teams from the scientific and administrative organisational units of the HZB.
* You will assume employer responsibilities and be responsible for the design and implementation of legal and HZB internal health and safety regulations in the department.
* You will develop strategic objectives and investments in building services, energy and environmental management.
* You will be responsible for managing and controlling the department's general and project budgets.
* You will plan and coordinate the structural and technical implementation of complex technical systems, taking into account energy efficiency and sustainability, occupational health and safety projects, fire protection, radiation protection and property protection.
* As a representative of the HZB, you will be the point of contact for the authorities and planning offices involved.
* You will represent the HZB Safety Officer (SBV) in fulfilling the employer's obligations with regard to occupational safety, health protection and preventive work organisation.
Your Profile
* Completed relevant studies in the fields of electrical engineering, building automation, energy and building services engineering, supply engineering or facility management with a diploma, master's degree or comparable qualification.
* Very good knowledge in the areas of technical infrastructure and complex supply systems.
* Good knowledge of technical facility management in the administration of buildings, facilities and technical equipment.
* Comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering, such as electrical, measurement and testing technology, microelectronics and control and automation technology.
* Expertise in the fields of heating, refrigeration, air conditioning and electrical engineering.
* Desirable: three years of professional experience.
* Good knowledge of relevant legal regulations (DIN VDE) and VDI regulations as well as HOAI, RZBau and RBBau.
* Very good knowledge of building planning law and the Berlin Building Code as well as other relevant rules and regulations of construction and environmental protection.
* Basic knowledge of public procurement law and subsidised plant construction desirable.
* Experience in personnel management and conflict management.
* Experience as a leading project manager and in general project management.
* Confident handling of MS Office, CAD and AVA software, use of Computer Aided Facility Management software systems (CAFM).
* Basic knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
* Excellent German language skills (at least C1 level) and good English language skills.

The employment contract is unlimited. The salary is based on the Collective Agreement for the German Public Service (TVöD-Bund).
