RESPONSIBILITIES
In our Regulatory Affairs Food Contact Unit, you will advise other Business units on all aspects of Consumer Safety in food contact materials, drinking water and medical devices together with our experienced team.
* You obtain, maintain and implement Registrations and Petitions for BASF polymers and additives in Consumer Safety applications for the Business Units in the different countries or regions.
* You are responsible for the risk assessment,- management, - communication as well as proactively monitoring of upcoming regulatory issues.
* Furthermore, you take part in projects with different business units and stakeholders.
* You implement product safety and stewardship concepts and provide trainings to your colleagues.
* In addition, you are an active member of the BASF Global Regulatory Affairs Team.
QUALIFICATIONS
* university degree in chemistry or a related field
* professional experience with consulting and project management skills
* strong product safety knowledge
* defined persuasiveness to convince customers and business partners in conversations in English and preferably German
* pronounced customer orientation and a high degree of empathy and communication
