Your areas of responsibility: Providing leadership to the sales group throughout the state of Michigan Carrying out development of sales representatives with specific focus on account management Developing new business and sales closing techniques Supporting the Vice President with input on strategic account management and divisional customer analysis; and sales P&L responsibilities The position will have 5 direct reports Qualifications we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, or Business required. At least 10 years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products required. Experience in the Lubricants or Chemical industries preferred. A minimum of 3 years ‘experience in a leadership role. CRM experience (Salesforce desired). Demonstrated success in opening new business. Ability to travel overnight when needed.
