Project Controls Lead - Life Sciences Construction (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a multi-discipline Project Controls team to provide critical project information promptly, supporting key decisions to ensure business-critical milestones are met.
* Oversee the implementation and leadership of project controls on large-scale projects or a portfolio of smaller projects, ensuring compliance with requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
* Support project governance and ensure consistency in service delivery.
* Take a strategic and analytical approach to project delivery.
* Assess and evaluate engineer and contractor bids, change notices, and costs to secure best value.
* Assist in preparing project funding documentation.
* Provide on-site leadership, assessing engineer and contractor progress.
* Develop and manage cost forecasts for critical projects.
* Negotiate pricing agreements with external partners.
* Monitor project schedules, reporting on deviations and updates.
* Prepare owner estimates and facilitate estimate review meetings.
* Proactively manage risk through comprehensive reviews and analysis.
* Implement change management practices to maintain accurate project information.
* Finalize contract and purchase order reconciliations.
* Deliver key project reports, including monthly executive updates, cost and cash flow reports, schedule updates, and risk reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven ability to work collaboratively and autonomously, with strong engagement and influencing skills.
* Relevant degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent technical or management qualification.
* Experience in project controls and process improvements.
* Industry-recognized certifications such as RICS, PMI, APM, or AACE.
* Background in Life Sciences, Data Centres, Renewable Energy, or Hi-Tech Manufacturing is advantageous.
* Familiarity with project controls software and its benefits.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver to senior executives and stakeholders.
* Experience in risk management, including quantitative risk analysis techniques.
* Demonstrated expertise in cost control, scheduling, change management, and estimating.
* Fluency in English and German; French is a plus.
* Authorization to work in the specified location.
