Description The COO Office supports the JPMSE Head of OOT (Head of Operations, Outsourcing & Technology) across the full functional remit (Operations, Regulatory Reporting, Outsourcing, Technology, Resiliency and Data Governance) with matters relating to Boards governance, regulatory reporting, Audit and Regulatory engagement quality assurance. We are looking or a highly motivated individual, with ideally Audit or Regulatory Supervision experience to join this new team. Job summary As a Vice President in the Operations - Regulatory Management Oversight team, you will be primarily responsible for designing and leading the delivery of quality assurance reviews across all internal, external, and regulatory examinations impacting OOT. You will also play a key role in coordinating audit fieldwork, contributing to the audit follow-up and monitoring process, and supporting the preparation for and coordination of governance meetings. Job Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include: Lead internal / external Audit related activities – Lead the coordination of the audit fieldwork and contribute to the audit follow-up and monitoring process for the remediation of audit findings and observations Manage regulatory related examination topics – Lead and support audit fieldwork and contribute to the quality assurance of OOT related documentation Oversee governance activities – Lead and support the preparation of the monthly and quarterly governance meetings (incl. Control Fora, Management Board and Audit Committee) and contribute to meetings with senior management, regulatory authorities, etc. Prepare materials for review and other ad-hoc presentations to communicate to a broader audience Acting as a central point of contact for all internal, external and regulatory examination topics within OOT Supporting the preparation for and coordination of governance meetings, including reporting and follow ups. Supporting and partnering with Operations functional managers. Fostering partnerships with internal stakeholders from Operations, Technology, Outsourcing, Regulatory Reporting, Resiliency, Audit, Compliance and CIB Controls and Oversight teams Supporting management to prioritize business and information needs, locating and defining new process improvement opportunities and strengthening lines of communication with key EMEA operations and control stakeholders Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Extensive working experience in financial services or public accounting, with a controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance focus or an equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business related function/operation Big Four audit or Regulatory Supervisory experience preferred Strong stakeholder management; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various businesses and key support functions Prior experience in the preparation of information and analysis for senior management, and experience in presenting to senior audiences when required Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to different audience levels Well organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills required Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment; comfortable re-prioritizing workload as needed, adaptability to changing priorities Possess excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, including an ability to influence and negotiate; comfortable interacting with cross-line of business partners EU banking regulations know-how would be considered a plus Fluency in both German and English is a prerequisite
