We are seeking an expert in REACh and Toxicology, the role holder acts as both a thought leader and a hands-on contributor to deliver business results by ensuring that the products developed and marketed by Arxada meet strict internal standards as well as relevant regulatory requirements. The role holder will be accountable to the Head of the REACh team for supporting the REACh programme and will have a dotted line accountability to the head of the Toxicology & Environmental Sciences (TES) Team for specific studies or issues. The role holder is a key member of the REACH Team and is required to provide a high level of expertise, speak authoritatively and act effectively. This includes supporting the Team leader to deliver an efficient regulatory service which is responsive to internal and external customers. Key elements of such a service may include developing regulatory strategies to optimize the positioning of products in line with business strategy, obtaining/maintaining regulatory approvals, flagging potential data gaps, developing responses to challenges from regulatory authorities as well as effective support for customers and innovation activities. The role holder is also a key member of the TES team offering strategic and tactical leadership on Tox, Ecotox, Efate or risk assessment matters to both the regulatory team and business leaders. Key responsibilities: Provide chemicals policy analysis, regulatory expertise and advice. Contribute to developing strategies for the registration of products. Coordinate, compile, submit and follow up on registration applications. Provide guidance and direction for responding to product challenges. Work closely with the global Toxicology & Environmental Sciences Team to assure compliance with testing requirements, provide expert guidance on emerging topics/data requirements, develop/manage testing strategies, summarise data to develop an overall profile, advise project teams etc. Ensure timely responses to internal and external customer queries regarding registrations or relevant regulatory information Provide guidance on product marketing initiatives assuring their compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage and maintain relationships with key regulatory agency officials, industrial associations, standards setting and industry consortia.
