They are seeking a highly skilled Physicist with expertise in optics, lasers, microscopy, and metrology to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in theoretical and experimental physics, with specific experience in laser technologies and microscopy techniques tailored for industrial settings. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive innovation in optical measurement technologies.
Duties:
- Develop and optimize laser-based microscopy techniques for industrial metrology applications.
- Utilize advanced microscopy methods such as confocal microscopy, multiphoton microscopy, and super-resolution microscopy for industrial inspection and analysis.
- Integrate optical solutions into industrial processes and products, enhancing efficiency and quality.
- Design and implement experiments to characterize optical components, laser systems, and microscopic structures.
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in optical design, laser systems, microscopy, metrology, and experimental physics.
- Proficiency in optical modeling software and expertise in laser system design and optimization.
- Strong understanding of microscopy techniques and their applications in industrial settings.
- German speaking C1 level minimum.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of metrology standards and practices, including calibration and uncertainty analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C++, Python, MATLAB) for data analysis and automation of microscopy processes.
- Experience with industrial laser systems, including solid-state lasers, fiber lasers, and ultrafast lasers.
