As one of the largest European wholesalers for sports nutrition, we distribute products such as protein bars, vitamins, or protein powder. With our approximately 200 employees, we supply Europe-wide business customers and can also be found on German supermarket shelves. Our virtual fitness fair and associated offers inspire thousands of sports enthusiasts each year.
Our headquarters are located in Venlo, optimally situated in the border region between the Netherlands and Germany near Mönchengladbach, Krefeld, Duisburg, and Düsseldorf.
YOUR ROLE
* You are responsible for the entire sales process within the specialty channel, divided into three distinct sales territories across Europe, where you lead and motivate your team of three employees.
* You achieve the sales targets set for these areas by developing profitable business relationships.
* You support existing customers and help turn them into key accounts.
* You go on monthly business trips throughout your sales territories to keep in touch with markets and customers regularly.
* You drive the international sales strategy forward in cooperation with your colleagues and supervisor.
* You ensure smooth sales processes in collaboration with your colleagues from Customer Service.
YOUR PROFILE
* You have completed your studies in economics or marketing. Alternatively, you have completed a degree in international or wholesale trade or a comparable qualification.
* You have a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a sales manager or key account manager, preferably with initial leadership experience.
* You are sales-driven and have strong communication and negotiation skills.
* You understand the needs of your customers and provide a high level of service orientation.
* You have solid MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
* You are fluent in English and feel confident negotiating in this language.
* You are willing to travel frequently, domestically and internationally.
