About the Role
1. As an IT Global Change Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for driving and optimizing the Change Management process across Group IT, ensuring alignment with internal teams and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IT Change Management strategies and processes to support efficient and controlled system changes.
Ensure adoption of a standardized Change Management lifecycle across internal teams and external vendors.
Coordinate testing, documentation, and approval of all changes in line with company standards.
Manage and monitor the performance and service delivery of external partners (e.g., service desk, 2nd and 3rd level support) against agreed SLAs.
Categorize and prioritize changes (standard, normal, emergency) and assess risks to minimize disruption.
Lead the handling of emergency and high-risk changes, ensuring timely execution based on urgency and business impact.
Facilitate stakeholder communication, including senior management, for escalations, approvals, and buy-in.
Analyze problem and incident trends to identify areas for improvement and collaborate on technical/process enhancements.
Conduct post-implementation reviews and develop reports and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of Change Management.
Share knowledge and mentor IT colleagues, promoting best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
About you
2. Your Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Change Management or IT Project Management within consulting, services, or corporate environments.
Proven track record in managing and implementing complex IT changes in large, multinational organizations— experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus .
Strong knowledge of IT processes and methodologies (ITIL); ITIL certification is required .
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software, hardware, and enterprise technology.
Hands-on experience with IT service management tools, preferably ServiceNow .
Excellent analytical and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and solve problems under pressure.
Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork capabilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.

This is an international role, with the flexibility to be based in one of the following Symrise offices : Holzminden (Germany), Barcelona (Spain), Clichy (France), Rennes (France), Shah Alam (Malaysia), Singapore (Singapore)
